The Armory offers a fun place to go after school for food, crafts, sports and even a little tutoring thrown in! Check out the various programs available from basketball clinics to arts and crafts or just a place to hang out with friends. We have something for all ages and our after school and summer programs are FREE for students in grades 6-12.

Summer Camps
Chalk the Walk
Check back for our next class! ​
AYP is participating in the Manistee County Suicide Prevention & Awareness Coalition's Chalk the Walk event.
Students will use sidewalk chalk to beautify our community with images and messages of HOPE, RESILIENCE, SUICIDE AWARENESS & PREVENTION. This will be done at the AYP entrance and sidewalk next to the AYP.

Open Bay
Beginning Monday, August 28th!

Monday - Friday from 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm.

Open to students in grades 6-12.
Join us for a game of pool, air hockey, video games, table tennis, or just grab a snack a socialize!

You can walk in for this program, only AYP General Registration is required.

Open Gym

Raising Writers

Local poet Lauren K. Carlson is partnering with the National Writer Series to offer creative writing classes for middle and high school students.
With Raising Writers: Manistee Area students will learn about contemporary poets and creatively use their writing and voices to express themselves.
